Botvin LifeSkills Training is an evidence-based, skills-building curriculum that empowers youth to stay healthy and avoid substance misuse through smarter decision-making.

Program Structure

Grade Levels

The Botvin LifeSkills Training program is specifically designed for youth in elementary, middle, and high school, with core curricula tailored for grades 3–10.

Session Length

The program consists of 10–15 sessions, each typically lasting 30–45 minutes, designed to fit seamlessly into a standard class period or community workshop schedule.

Delivery Method

Flexible delivery options including in-school health classes, after-school clubs, and community-based youth groups, led by DFYC-trained educators and health specialists.
